Sightings for Thursday January 5th

St Clet: Was hoping for a Snowy Owl or two. No luck on that front but did get a dark-morph Rough-legged Hawk (Buse pattue). Was pretty surprised in the amount of Wild turkeys (dindon sauvage) that I saw though - 33 in one flock on Chemin St Marie and then 9 in a field on Chemin St Louis in St Lazare. - Andy Plimer

Clemence and I saw a Snowy Owl (Harfang des neiges) on chemin Ste-Marie facing Savoura. It was on the ground and it was pure white, no brown spots at all. - Jean Demers

Tadoussac: This morning, near the dunes of Tadoussac Eurasian Wigeon nearly 250 black ducks and a few Mallards.

St Laurent: I've seen a couple of times now, over the last 3 weeks a Snowy Owl (Harfang des neiges) in the Area of the Trans Canada Highway and Cote Vertu Boulevard in St Laurent. I've seen him twice on the south side of the 40 on Cote Vertu (up on a lamp post), just before sunrise, and once on the North side of the 40 (also on a lamp post) around sunset. - Cameron Ward
