St. Clet: This morning at I saw two groups Snow buntings, the two groups were on chemin St. Julie (a group of one hundred and one of 50), and also twenty Horned Lark.
At Dorval I finally saw my first Snowy owl of the year 2012, on 55th Avenue. He was on the roof of a small shack, beautiful to see.
Ce matin à St-Clet, j’ai vu 2 groupes de plectophanes des neiges, les 2 groupes sur le chemin St-Julie (1 groupe d’une centaine et un autre de 50), et aussi une vingtaine d’alouette hausse-col.
A Dorval j’ai enfin pu voir mon premier harfang des neiges de l’année 2012, sur la 55ième avenue. Il était sur le toit d’une petite cabane, magnifique à voir. - Manon Roy

Princeville: This afternoon on the rang 10, I saw a raptor fly over a field and I saw a few Gray partridge fly away. The raptor turned out to be a Cooper's Hawk, which perched in a tree.
Returning in the same place shortly before 5 p.m., an owl perched in a tree along the rang. The bird moved to perch on a building. Using my binoculars I identified a Great Horned Owl
Cet après-midi dans le rang 10 de Princeville, j'ai aperçu un rapace qui volait au dessus d'un champ et j'ai pu voir quelques Perdrix grises s'envoler plus loin. Le rapace qui s'est avéré être un Épervier de Cooper, s'est posé dans un arbre.
En revenant dans le même rang un peu avant 17 heures, un strigidé était perché dans un arbre en bordure du rang. L'oiseau s'est déplacé pour se percher sur un bâtiment. À l'aide de mes jumelles j'ai identifié le Grand-duc d'Amérique. - Claude Roy
