Cookshire-Eaton: at 1:30 accompanied by Eric Tremblay, I saw the Northern Owl Hawk at 340 Chemin de Westleyville. She was in the plantation, then she flew to perch on top of the tall conifers in front of the house.

Sainte-Catherine, Récréo-Parc: (very cold and windy beside the river): Brown creeper - 2, Northern cardinal - 1, Common mergansers - 25 +, Canada Goose - 40 +, American Crows - 5, Bald eagle - 2 immature (in flight scaring up geese and other ducks), White-breasted Nuthatch - 1, other ducks - 50 +, Black-capped chickadees - 4, hybrid Ross's Goose x Snow Goose so well described by Raymond Belhumeur (thank you Raymond for the info)
au Récréo-Parc (très froid et venteux sur le bord du fleuve): grimpereau brun - 2, cardinal rouge - 1, grand harle - 25+, bernache du canada - 40+, corneilles d'amérique - 5, pyguargue - 2 immatures ( en vol qui fesaient lever les bernaches et autres canards), sitelles à poitrine blanche - 1, autres canards - 50 +, mésanges à t. noire - 4, hybride Oie de Ross x Oie des neiges si bien décrite par Raymond Belhumeur (merci Raymond pour l'info)
