Mercier, water treatment ponds: 2 Red-necked phalaropes, Wood duck, Northern shoveler, Green-winged teal, Blue-winged teal, Mallard

Montréal: Parc Mont-Royal: 40 species, 14 warbler species Ovenbird (3), Wilson's (3), Tennessee (3+), Blackburnian (2), Black-throated Blue (3), à tête cendrée (dozens), Black-throated Green (dozens), Bay-breasted (3), Blackpoll (5+), Chestnut-sided (2), Black-and-white (5+), Parula (5+), Redstart (3), Nashville (5+), also Swainson's Thrush, Brown Creeper (4), both Kinglets, Winter Wren (2), etc. most interesting sighting was a Black-throated Blue Warbler in near-full breeding plumage singing loudly!

40 espèces, 14 espèces de parulines - couronnée (3), à calotte noire (3), obscure (3 +), à gorge orangée (2), Bleu (3), Magnolia (dizaines), à gorge noire (dizaines), à poitrine baie (3),  rayée (5 +), à flancs marron (2), Noir et blanc (5 +), à collier (5 +), flamboyante (3), à joues grises (5 +), également Grive à dos olive , grimpereau brun (4), les deux roitelets, Troglodyte mignon (2), etc. observation la plus intéressante était une Paruline bleue en quasi plein chantant bruyamment plumage nuptial! - David Kaiser

Montréal: Ile Sainte Helene this evening from 3:30 to 6 pm and observed a Long-tailed Jaeger (Labbe à longue queue) just off the southern end of the island. The bird was being mobbed by Ring-billed Gulls and flew past in a southerly direction towards the Victoria Bridge. Also an excellent selection of warblers and other passerine species in the wooded areas around the ponds.
