Montreal, McGill College: Seen from my office on the 22nd floor, 7 Turkey vultures. This morning they were being chased off by a Peregrine Falcon.

I have seen a flock of ten birds of prey for the last 2 weeks over Pincourt. They patrol silently once in the day and once at 19:00 like clockwork. 4 foot( wow ) wingspan so it cant be hawks. Beaks are light colored ( white-ish )and the alight in a group of tall pine trees. They are brownish and drab.
I have my guess.
any ideas ?
On 9 June 2012 there were four large birds of prey on the hydro tower in Pincourt, stayed there for about two hours until they flew towards the water. Please give me an idea what they might be, they're fascinating.
Without more information it's hard to say exactly what type of raptors you are seeing. Although by the number of birds seen at the same time. Sound like they could be Turkey vultures.
The end of thier beaks are white in color and young birds are brownish. When soaring their wings tilt upwards in a V, and are not steady. Always correcting for the wind.
