Sightings for Tuesday January 9th

Mont Saint-Hilaire, la falaise: Gyrfalcon - white form (Faucon gerfaut de forme blanche)

Chambly, Chambly basin: Canada geese (Bernaches du Canada), Cackling goose (Bernache de Hutchins), 1 snow goose (Oie des neiges), Horned grebe (Grèbe esclavon), 6 Northern pintails (Canards pilet), Common, Red-breasted and hooded Mergansers (Harles - grand, huppé et couronnés), 134 Ring-billed gulls (Goèlands à bec cerclé)
parc des Voiles: American coot (Foulque d'Amérique), Ring-necked duck (Fuligule à collier), Greater white-fronted goose (Oie rieuse)

Roxton Pond, route 139: Turkey vulture (Urubu à tête rouge)

Brossard, visible from boul. Marie-Victorin in Brossard, between boul. Simard and the entrance ramp to the Champlain Bridge. At about 11 am, there were 3 Double-crested Cormorants (Cormoran à aigrettes), on a rock close to the shore.

Ile Sainte-Hélène: in some shrubs by the path, between the bus shelter and pont de la Concorde: Black-throated Gray Warbler (Paruline grise)
