Jim Houghton Spring Warbler Walk "Report"

The Tuesday Jim Houghton Warbler Walk was in the regulation cold drizzle, but Virginia and John joined me. We followed the "Wheep!!" of a Great Crested Flycatcher and got a nice view. A flock of warblers included two Yellow-Rumps & maybe a Blackburnian, though most looked all gray against a bright gray sky. A turn along the east road produced Catbirds and White-throated Sparrows we had only heard. The l5 species were:

2 Gray Catbird\Moqueur chat
8 Yellow-rumped Warbler\Paruline à croupion jaune
1 Ovenbird\Paruline Couronnee
2 Chipping Sparrow\Bruant familier
6 White-throated Sparrow\Bruant à gorge blanche
1 Northern Cardinal\Cardinal rouge
2 American Goldfinch\Chardonneret jaune- Sylvia Wees
