Sainte-Catherine: I spent a few hours this morning at the Recre-O-Parc, and there were still hundreds of tree swallows flitting over rapids. A Brant passed quickly in my field of vision, as well as a Great Egret.
J'ai passé quelques heures ce matin au Récré-O-Parc de Sainte-Catherine, et il y avait encore une centaine d'Hirondelles bicolores voletant au-dessus des rapides. Une Bernache cravant est passée rapidement dans mon champ de vision, ainsi qu'une Grande Aigrette.

Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue: I saw a Black Scoter (Macreuse à bec jaune) (female) with a raft of Lesser Scaup (Petit Fuligule)from the MacDonald Tennis Courts on Lakeshore Rd. overlooking the St. Lawrence at 12pm today. Also seen today/yesterday of interest in Ste-Annes: 7 species of sparrows including Fox Sparrow, American Tree Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow and White-throated Sparrow, Purple Finch (2) (Bruant fauve, Bruant, Bruant à couronne blanche et bruant à gorge blanche, Roselin pourpré (2) in the Morgan Arboretum and Snow Goose (2) with the Canada Geese (Oie des neiges (2) avec les Bernaches du Canada) in the agricultural fields. - Alex Stone
