I am pretty sure that I saw two or three Turkey Vultures hovering over McGill College Street in downtown Montreal today at around 11:30 am. They would occasionally land on the top levels of Place Montreal Trust and the blue pyramid topped building on the east side of McGill College Street. I took a few shots when one of them landed on the blue building and one of them is quite clear although the bird is still quite small in the photo since I was shooting from the plaza of Place Ville Marie with a 600mm (900mm equivalent) telephoto lens. i.e. a 300mm f/5.6 Tamron SP withy a Tamron SP 2X teleconverter attached to it. A 1200mm-2000mm super-telephoto lens would have done a better job of catching the bird but that's just not the kind of lens that one can easily carry in one's camera bag.
