Westmount Summit, Tuesday May 8th

Jim Houghton Memorial Spring Warbler Walk at WestmountSummit between 7:00 am and 10:30 am:

Only six birders enjoyed an overcast morning and were rewarded by 42 species. The highlight was sighting 16 warbler species, including a rare Prairie Warbler. The birds were very active at ground level and high in trees. There was little wind, plenty of leaves, and the rain luckily held off until we were ready to go home.
