Sightings for Saturday May 19th

The Club des ornithologues de Châteauguay did their Annual census of Île Saint-Bernard on Saturday May 19th, with the help of members of the Montreal Biological Society. Twenty-four observers split into three groups and found 100 species. Icluding: Glossy ibis (Ibis falcinelle), Blue-gray gnatcatcher (Gobemoucherons gris-bleu), Eastern bluebirds (Merlebleus de l’Est), Bald eagle (Pygargues à tête blanche), Mourning warbler (Paruline triste), Bobolink (Goglus des prés) - Monique Groulx

I would appreciate hearing about any migrating monarch butterfly sightings in your area. There have been a few Quebec and New Brunswick reports.
