Bird Protection Quebec "Field Trip"

2013 Summer Series of Birding - Trip #3

This week we will be heading to a location that I do not recall BPQ ever visiting, at least in the 10 years or so that I have been around. We will be heading to the Centre de la Nature in Laval. Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, July 6
Time: 8 am. Half-day outing.
Location: Centre de la Nature, 901 av. du Parc, Laval
Av. du Parc runs between boul. St-Martin to the North and boul. de la Concorde to the south.
Meet in the parking lot. NOTE: Parking Fee: $7.00
This will be a walking trip.

Driving Instructions: see Google Map at http://goo.gl/maps/lP299
The "A" on the map indicates the entrance to the parking. If you are coming from central or western Montreal, head east on Highway 40-Metropolitan Blvd. to either Papineau or Pie-IX Blvd. exits. Head north crossing either the Papineau Bridge or the Pie-IX Bridge. From the Papineau Bridge, take the de la Concorde exit and travel east on de la Concorde to av. du Parc. Turn left on av. du Parc to address 901. From the Pie-IX Bridge, take the de la Concorde exit and travel west on de la Concorde to av. du Parc. Turn right on av. du Parc to address 901. Meet in the parking lot at 8 am.
