Sightings for Saturday August 20th

Pointe de Yamachiche: a beautiful White-faced Ibis has a brief appearance between 3:30 p.m. & 4:15 p.m., for the great delight of the observers present

I did not see the Stilt Sandpiper today, but other observers told me there was one this morning

Here is my list for today, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.: Great Blue Heron, Green Heron (1 juv, 1 Ad), White-faced Ibis 1, Snow Goose, 1, Bald Eagle 2 imm. Ad 1, Sharp-shinned Hawk 1, Black-bellied Plover 9, Semipalmated Plover 20, Greater Yellowlegs 2, Lesser Yellowlegs 1, Solitary Sandpiper 1 (in the river), Spotted Sandpiper 2, Sanderling 1, Semipalmated Sandpiper 10 +, Least Sandpiper 10 +, White-rumped Sandpiper 2, Baird's Sandpiper 3, Pectoral Sandpiper 1, Short-billed Dowitcher 1, Bonaparte's Gull 1, Kingfisher 2, Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1

Pointe de Yamachiche. un magnifique Ibis à face blanche a fait une courte apparition entre 15 heures 30 et 16 heures 15, pour le plus grand bonheur des observateurs présents
 
Je n'ai pas vu de Bécasseau à échasses aujourd'hui, mais d'autres observateurs m'ont dit en avoir vu un ce matin.
