bois papineau, 8am to 11 am this morning 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in afternoon 2 great horned owls... both north of the tracks, well hidden way up high in big cedars.... one in a leaning cedar about 20 yards in from the tracks... another way up a big cedar , in the grove opposite the little bridge to the feeders...1 saw-whet asleep in a cedar, near the start of the path to the main grove of cedars, again north of the tracks...1 barred owl half way up a large hemlock,.... south of the tracks, but close bythem...1 screech owl / grey phase in the original birch cavity, not the one near thepolice station
