Bird Protection Quebec Field trip for January 7th

Montreal, Saint Laurent: Bois de Liesse Nature Park, 13 birders braved the cold temperatures of Saturday morning with temperatures hovering around -18C. A totalof 15 species was seen: 4 American black ducks, 20 rock pigeons, 4 downy woodpeckers, 2 hairywoodpeckers, 2 pileated woodpeckers, 100+ American crows, 30 black-cappedchickadees, 5 white-breasted nuthatches, 8 American robins, 13 Europeanstarlings, 2 American tree sparrows, 1 Dark-eyed junco, 4 Northerncardinals, 3 American Goldfinches and 10 House sparrows.
