Warblers did appear – a flock of Yellow-rumped– as well as two Hermit Thrushes, on the first chill morning of the Jim Houghton Warbler Walk. Three hardy birders counted l5 species: 1 Ring-billed Gull\ Goeland à bec cerclé, 1 Downy Woodpecker\ Pic mineur, 2 Hairy Woodpecker\ Pic chevelu, 8 Northern Flicker\ Pic flamboyant, 2 Pileated Woodpecker\ Grand pic, 10 American Crow\ Corneille d'Amérique, 6 Black-capped Chickadee\ Mésange à tête noire, 2 White-breasted Nuthatch\ Sittelle à poitrine blanche, 2 Brown Creeper\ Grimpereau brun, 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet\ Roitelet à couronne rubis, 2 Hermit Thrush\ Grive solitaire, 3 American Robin\ Merle d'Amérique, 8 Yellow-rumped Warbler\ Paruline à croupion jaune, 1 White-throated Sparrow\ Bruant à gorge blanche, 1 Northern Cardinal\ Cardinal rouge - Sylvia Wees
