2018 BPQ Summer Series Field Trip #3 - Saturday, July 21

RENDEZVOUS SPOT: The Esso gas station/truck stop parking lot at Exit 6 (Lacolle/Hemmingford/Parc Safari exit) from Highway 15 South

From the rendezvous spot we will drive east along Highway 202 to our destination in Venise-en-Quebec.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: From Montreal, take the Champlain Bridge, Mercier Bridge, or Highway 30 to Highway 15 South –Direction Lacolle, QC/Champlain, NY. Take Exit 6 (Lacolle/Hemmingford/Parc Safari Exit for Route 202). At the end of the exit, cross Rte. 202 into the large parking area to the left between the Esso gas station and Tim Hortons.

We will first visit the McFee Brook Interpretive Centre, located at 703 av. de Venise West. It consists of a lengthy boardwalk that winds through bogs and marshland. Time permitting, we will also visit the NCC's Sentier de la Nature at 294- 58 Street West (Highway 202). Here is the webpage for the McFee Brook Centre
