Sightings for Saturday November 15th

St-Lazare, sand pits: The Ross's Goose is still hanging around St-Lazare sand pits with the SnowGeese, today it was quite near the road, park in the sports ground car park to view. At least three Cackling Geese were in with 4000 Canada geese. Also there an immature Northern Gray Shrike and a few Snow Buntings. I tried the St-Clet area for Snowy Owls, nothing yet. Longue-Rive: Snowy owl always present at the salt marsh, also seen Common goldeneye, Snow buntings, Red-breasted merganser

St-Joseph-de-la-Rive: RED-HEADED WOODPECKER around Auberge Beauséjour à St-Joseph-de-la-Rive also seen around the houses near the crossing, Wilson’s warbler, Northern parula, Yellow-rumped warbler
Un PIC À TÊTE ROUGE immature fréquentait les alentours de l'Auberge Beauséjour à St-Joseph-de-la-Rive, Autour des maisons, près du traversier, une belle brochette de trois espèces de parulines s'attardaient ensemble, soit une Paruline à calotte noire, une Paruline à collier et une Paruline à croupion jaune. - Samuel Denault

Isle-aux-Coudres: Snowy owls, Cedar waxwings, Northern goshawk, Double-crested cormorant
2 Harfangs des neiges fréquentaient la batture et les Jaseurs d'Amérique étaient particulièrement nombreux avec plus de 300 individus. 1 Autour des palombes, 1 Cormoran à aigrettes - Samuel Denault

Philipsburg, in front of the dock: Lesser & Greater scaup, Herring gulls, Great black-backed gull, Bufflehead, Canada geese, Slate-coloured juncos
Devant le quai de Philipsburg, côté lac: Petits Fuligules et Fuligules milouinans, environ 300 Goélands argentés 12, Goéland marin 1, Petit Garrot 2, Bernaches du Canada 5, Junco ardoisés 4
On the land behind the dock: Carolina wren, Cardinal, Tufted titmouse, Housefinch, European starling
Face au quai de Philipsburg, côté terre:
Troglodyte de Caroline, Cardinal rouge 2, Mésange bicolore 2, Roselin familier 5, Étourneau sansonnet une trentaine
1km north of the dock on rue Champlain in fron of Aux Deux Mousses cabins: Surf scoters, Herring gulls, Ring-billed gulls, Common merganser, Bufflehead
Un km au nord du quai sur la rue Champlain à Philipsburg (face aux cabines Aux Deux Mousses)
