Bird Protection Quebec's Field trip report for Saturday October 23rd

Hudson Field Trip

Twelve birders, including a group from McGill's Wildlife Association, participated in Hudson's field trip. It was a cold but beautiful day and we managed to find 38 species of birds.

The bird of the day was a Cooper's hawk that was low against the blue sky makingit relatively easy to identify.

A Bonaparte's gull was a nice surprise.

Thanks to everyone who came out - Barbara MacDuff
