Sainte-Marthe: There were 20 White-winged Crossbills (Bec-croisé bifascié) about a kilometer east of the stop sign on chemin Sainte-Julie off the 201. Feeding on the evergreen cones, and eating snow and salt off the road. Also seen were 3 juvenile and 1 female Snowy Owl (Harfang des neiges) on Sainte-Julie and 3e Rang. - George Palagian

How cool to be able to see so many crossbills. They are a fun bird with their interesting bill design.
