BPQ Field Trip Report - Saturday, September 8 - Ile Charron and Parc des Iles de Boucherville

20 birders joined the trip today at Ile Charron. Sky was blue all morning and temperature was mild, making it a really enjoyable morning for birding.

Northern wind and colder night made it favourable for some migration movement, and birds were active all morning. We encountered several flocks of warblers as well as thrushes, flycatchers, etc.

We started by the area in the back of the water treatment plant before moving into the park. The SEPAQ open day made it even nicer as it was free to access Boucherville park today - we even got a free pass for our next visit!

At the end of the morning, our day list reached 55 species including 10 species of warblers. The list is presented below.

Bird of the day was the Olive-sided Flycatcher observed several times and at short distance.
