Gatineau, rivière des Outaouais: rapides de Deschesnes (rapids) I have seen one, maybe two, Red Phalaropes in winter plumage in the middle of the rapids, with Bonaparte's Gulls.

Cloudy and cool. Light to moderate winds from the N-E. Excellent visibility, no fog or evaporation. A few ripples on the retreating tide Mighty River. Many birds too far to be identified. Those that were close

Ce matin j'ai débuté ma journée au quai de Rivière-Ouelle. Ce fut un beau début de journée malgré le temps gris. Deux heures (6h00 à 8h00) en stationnaire au bout du quai, bout du nez gelé vers la fin...

Nuageux et frais. Vents légers à moyens du N-E. Visibilité excellente (+++), aucun brouillard ni évaporation. Quelques vaguelettes marée baissante sur le fleuve aux grandes eaux. Beaucoup d'oiseaux trop loin pour être identifié. Pour les plus près:
