Sightings for Monday November 16th

Montréal: 2:45 PM- 2 Ravens (Grand Corbeau), 1 (Red-Tailed Hawk) (ad.) (Buse à queue rousse), and 1 Peregrine Falcon (Faucon pèlerin) around grain elevator in Port of Montreal at bottom of Rue McGill

Last Friday (Nov 13) there were, at least 7 Boneparte's Gulls (Mouette de Bonaparte) amongst 150 or so Ring-Billed Gulls (Goéland à bec cerclé) in the Lachine Canal basin at the bottom of Peel St. in Montreal.

The canal has been drained and the basin has exposed mud and rock where the gulls are feeding and bathing, etc.

Best access is near the small parking lot along Mill street where the bicycle path crosses - Mark Tomalty
