Sightings for Monday March 19

St-Armand: This morning on chemin Bradley, my first Eastern Phoebe near the goat farm. A pair of Tufted Titmouse, Eastern Bluebird many Killdeer, 5 vultures, 12 Wood ducks,  an Eastern Meadowlark perched on a post
 
Ce matin sur le chemin Bradley à St-Armand, mon premier moucherolle phébi, près de la ferme aux chèvres. Un couple de mésange bicolore, merlebleu beaucoup de kildir, 5 urubus, 12 canards branchu et une belle Sturnelle des prés perchée sur un poteau - Jean-Guy Papineau

Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Morgan Arboretum: 1 Great Horned Owl (Grand duc d'Amérique) sunning himself in a pine tree (of course, no camera in sight!), 12 Pine Siskins (Tarin des pins), first flock of the year, singing loudly from the Fir trees, Red-Shouldered Hawk (Buse à épaulettes), Killdeer (Pluvier kildir), Song Sparrows (Bruant chanteur) and the Regulars - Chris Cloutier

At the St. Louis de Gonzague bridge, a Peregrine falcon heading towards Godmanchester, we road over 2 km accompanied by a Northern Harrier, flying sometimes very near the truck.
au pont de St-Louis-de-Gonzague, un Faucon pélerin. En s'en allant vers la région de Godmanchester, nous avons roulé sur 2 km en compagnie d'un Busard St-Martin qui parfois survolait de très près le camion.


Godmanchester: montée Smellie, we saw 2 Red-tailed Hawks, 2 Turkey vultures, an eagle sp and we heard a Red-shouldered hawk and a Barred Owl.
chemin Curran, we saw 4 Red-tailed Hawks and 2 Common ravens.
montée Carr, we were fortunate to see 3 Golden Eagles who decended lower down, 1 Hawk Cooper, 2 Red-tailed Hawks.
montée Smellie, nous avons vu 2 Buses à queue rousse, 2 Urubus à tête rouge, un aigle sp et nous avons entendu une Buse à épaulettes et une Chouette rayée.
chemin Curran, nous avons observé 4 Buses à queue rousse et 2 Grands Corbeaux.
montée Carr, nous avons eu la chance d'apercevoir 3 Aigles royaux qui sont descendus assez bas, 1 Épervier de Cooper, 2 Buses à queue rousse


On the way back, a second Peregrine Falcon circling above the Valleyfield Industrial Park.
Sur le chemin du retour, un second Faucon pélerin tournoyait au-dessus du parc industriel de Valleyfield.

Finally, the Great Horned Owl was sitting on its nest at the St. Timothy marsh.
Finalement, le Grand-duc d'Amérique était bien installé sur son nid au marais de St-Thimothée.

We also heard two Eastern phoebe. The one on chemin Curran the other on montée Smellie.
