Saint-Bruno: A male Black-Backed Woodpecker (Pic à dos noir) was working on an old maple and, later, scolding a Barred Owl (Chouette rayée) just inside the Parc national du Mont-Saint-Bruno Park boundary on the south side behind golf course. Was actually two trees away from the Bois des Hirondelles which has recently been involved in a development controversy - Mark Tomalty
