Montréal: I was on McGill University's downtown campus this afternoon and saw an immature
Golden Eagle (Aigle royal) being buffeted around in the wind over Mount Royal. The bird flew close enough to observe the distinct white patches on the primaries and the contrast between the white tail feathers and dark terminal band. It was also joined briefly by the area's resident
Peregrine falcons (Faucon pèlerin), and three
Turkey Vultures (Urubu à tête rouge) -
