Sightings for Saturday February 14th

Rigaud area: 3 Snowy owls (Harfangs des neiges)
On this cold but sunny St. Valentine's day, an adult female Snowy owl sitting on the ground near house #1051 along Montee St. Thomas, west of Rigaud. A beautiful adult male Snowy owl atop a power pole, feathers aglow in the setting sun, observed from the car at 10m while parked beside Hwy 325, near house #970, approximately 2km south of Tres St.Redempteur. Unfortunately, no camera to hand. A second adult male, abeacon in rapidly fading light, perched on the ridgeline of a barn alongside Chemin Ste. Marie, just west of Hwy 201 - B. Barnhurst
