Chateauguay, rue Flanagan: Pine siskin (Tarin des pins) - T. Long
Boucherville, parc de La Frayère: Townsend's Solitare (Solitaire de Townsend ) - Raymond Belhumeur
This morning at about 11-11:30 am I was delighted to see a resplendent European Goldfinch (Chardonneret élégant) at my cylindrical finch feeder (nigerseeds). It doesn't look like these birds moult very much, judging by his (her?) bright colours.I live in the Snowdon (Montreal) area, and I sure hope he returns tomorrow, as I now know how to use the zoom on my husband's digital camera. Stay tuned! - Karen
